For over a decade, EIP Group has been a trusted partner in delivering turnkey EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning) solutions for solar, diesel, and critical infrastructure projects across Malaysia’s most demanding sectors.

Our Legacy & Group Structure

Co-Founded in September 2010 by Ir. Albert Chang, EIP Group began as a specialist in backup power equipment for commercial and industrial buildings. With the entry of OCK Group Berhad as majority shareholder, EIP Group expanded rapidly into large-scale energy solutions. Our company is registered as a Grade G7 contractor with CIDB (allowing us to undertake projects of unlimited value) and as a licensed electrical contractor with the Energy Commission Malaysia.

Expansion of shareholder base and management team

Secured our first data centre project in relation to the EPCC of a diesel generation and distribution system for a data centre in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
2024
Successfully completed 9 mission critical projects ( 8 Datacenters )
Continuously commissioned some of Malaysia’s largest solar and critical backup power projects for data centers and industrial clusters.

Ir. ALBERT CHANG

Executive Director / Chief Executive Officer
A UNITEN graduate and member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia, Ir. Albert Chang’s early career included stints in both project management (Sanyo Engineering) and system maintenance for major industrial facilities. He has managed electrical turnkey design for semiconductor plants in Singapore and Southeast Asia. In 2010, he co-founded EIP Group, leading its transition to both conventional and renewable energy solutions.

A Monash University Commerce graduate and CPA Australia member, Sharon began in audit and finance before moving into power generation market strategy. She joined EIP Group in 2010, guiding its market expansion and overseeing feasibility and outreach in the energy sector.

Datuk Wira Ooi Chin Khoon, a Malaysian male aged 58, is our Non-Independent Non-Executive Director and substantial shareholder. He was appointed to our Board since incorporation on 14 May 2025, and was redesignated to Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on 16 July 2025. Datuk Jamaludin Bin Nasir, a Malaysian male aged 66, is our Independent Non-Executive Chairman. He was appointed to our Board on 16 July 2025.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science, Finance & Business Economics and Bachelor of Arts, Economics from Southern Illinois University, USA in 1984, and furthered his academic pursuits with a Master of Business Administration from Laredo State University (now known as Texas A&M International University), USA in 1985.

Khaw Bee Nee, a Malaysian female aged 55, is our Independent Non-Executive Director. She was appointed to our Board on 16 July 2025.
She obtained her Accounting Professional Qualification from ACCA in 1994. In 2010, she obtained her Master of Business Administration from The University of Manchester, UK. She is an Associate Member of ACCA since 1997 and was admitted as a Fellow Member in 2002. She is also a Member (Public Accountant) of MIA in 1998 and was certified as a Member (Chartered Accountant) of MIA in 2001.
