Yong Shan Miao, a Malaysian female aged 37, is our Head of Finance. She is responsible for overseeing our Group’s overall accounting and finance functions.
In 2011, she started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, as an Associate in the Assurance department, where she was involved in various statutory audit engagements. She was promoted to Senior Associate in 2013, where she assumed the same responsibilities.
In January 2015, she left PricewaterhouseCoopers and joined ECity Hotel Sdn Bhd (subsidiary of MCT Berhad (now known as Avaland Berhad, listed on Main Market)), a company involved in hotel operation, as an Accountant where she was responsible for financial reporting and operational finance for the company. In July 2015, she was transferred to Modular Construction Technology Sdn Bhd (another subsidiary of MCT Berhad), a company involved in construction business, where she assumed the same roles and responsibilities and was also involved in group reporting matters of MCT Berhad.
In 2018, she left Modular Construction Technology Sdn Bhd and joined MLDC Berhad, a company involved in the business of a property management, investment and development, as Finance Manager where she oversaw the group’s finance and corporate matters.
In June 2021, she left MLDC Berhad and joined Sime Darby Property Berhad (listed on the Main Market), a company involved in property development, as Finance Manager where she was involved in financial reporting and operational finance for the company. She left Sime Darby Property Berhad in December 2021.
In January 2022, she founded YSM & Co, a non-audit firm registered under MIA, as a sole partner, where she was involved in providing accounting services.
In December 2022, she founded YSM Corporate Services Sdn Bhd, a company that provides accounting and management consultancy services, and was appointed as Director.
In February 2025, she ceased her involvement in providing accounting and management consultancy services in both YSM & Co and YSM Corporate Services Sdn Bhd to focus on her role upon joining our Group in February 2025 as our Head of Finance, where she assumed her current responsibilities. In July 2025, she resigned from both YSM & Co as a partner and YSM Corporate Services Sdn Bhd as a director and disposed of her shares in YSM Corporate Services Sdn Bhd.
