Datuk Wira Ooi Chin Khoon

Datuk Wira Ooi Chin Khoon, a Malaysian male aged 58, is our Non-Independent Non-Executive Director and substantial shareholder. He was appointed to our Board since incorporation on 14 May 2025, and was redesignated to Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on 16 July 2025. He is the corporate representative of OCK on our Board.

He obtained his Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from TAFE College, Negeri Sembilan in 1992. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tri-State University (now Trine University), Indiana, USA in August 1996.

In 1992, he started his career with Cobrain Holdings Sdn Bhd, a company involved in electrical engineering works, as an Electrical Engineer where he was responsible for project supervision and implementation of M&E works. In 1994, he was promoted to Project Manager, where he was responsible for overseeing the project management works, up to his departure in August 1995.

In August 1995, he took a career break to pursue his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Upon graduation in 1996, he rejoined Cobrain Holdings Sdn Bhd as Senior Project Manager, and was subsequently promoted to Contract Manager in 1998. During his tenure in Cobrain Holdings Sdn Bhd, he was involved in managing the company’s customer contracts. In 1999, he left Cobrain Holdings Sdn Bhd to focus on building his own business.

In 1998, he established OCK Setia Engineering Services, a sole proprietorship to undertake the business of providing M&E engineering services. With growing demand in the telecommunications sector, he subsequently expanded his business through the incorporation of Delicom Sdn Bhd (now known as OCK Digital Sdn Bhd) and OCK Setia Engineering in 2000 to cater for telecommunication network services.

He is currently the Group Managing Director of OCK (listed on Main Market), where he is responsible for overseeing the operations of OCK Group, formulating strategic direction of OCK Group, and driving the growth, development and transformation of OCK Group. His leadership has been instrumental in positioning OCK Group as a leading telecommunications infrastructure service provider.
