Our Legacy & Group Structure

Co-Founded in September 2010 by Ir. Albert Chang, EIP Group began as a specialist in backup power equipment for commercial and industrial buildings. With the entry of OCK Group Berhad as majority shareholder, EIP Group expanded rapidly into large-scale energy solutions. Our company is registered as a Grade G7 contractor with CIDB (allowing us to undertake projects of unlimited value) and as a licensed electrical contractor with the Energy Commission Malaysia.

Secured our first data centre project in relation to the EPCC of a diesel generation and distribution system for a data centre in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
2024
Successfully completed 9 mission critical projects ( 8 Datacenters )
Continuously commissioned some of Malaysia’s largest solar and critical backup power projects for data centers and industrial clusters.

Our Key Management

Ir. ALBERT CHANG

Executive Director / Chief Executive Officer
A UNITEN graduate and member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia, Ir. Albert Chang’s early career included stints in both project management (Sanyo Engineering) and system maintenance for major industrial facilities. He has managed electrical turnkey design for semiconductor plants in Singapore and Southeast Asia. In 2010, he co-founded EIP Group, leading its transition to both conventional and renewable energy solutions.

SHARON MAK

Executive Director / Chief Operating Officer
A Monash University Commerce graduate and CPA Australia member, Sharon began in audit and finance before moving into power generation market strategy. She joined EIP Group in 2010, guiding its market expansion and overseeing feasibility and outreach in the energy sector.
