EI POWER WINS RM90.1 MILLION FUEL SYSTEM SUBCONTRACT FOR DATA CENTRE IN JOHOR

Kuala Lumpur, 18 June 2026 – Power engineering solutions provider, EI Power Berhad (“EIP” or the “Company”) (亿埃電能), through its wholly-owned subsidiary, EI Power Technologies Sdn Bhd, has accepted a Works Subcontract Agreement (“WSA”) valued at RM90.1 million for a Data Centre in Johor, Malaysia.

The WSA was awarded by a main contractor principally involved in engineering, construction and investment holding. In accordance with the confidentiality terms of the WSA, the identity of the main contractor is not disclosed.

The scope covers the complete Fuel System Package for the Data Centre in Johor, encompassing supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning. Works commenced upon acceptance of the WSA, with completion scheduled in September 2027.

Following this award, EIP’s unbilled order book has increased to RM222.5 million. This contract adds meaningfully to EIP’s revenue pipeline and is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s earnings over the duration of the project.

EIP was listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 21 May 2026, raising RM62.2 million in proceeds to fund operational expansion, including a new headquarters, a branch office in Johor, and its foray into Thailand.
