Khaw Bee Nee

Khaw Bee Nee, a Malaysian female aged 55, is our Independent Non-Executive Director. She was appointed to our Board on 16 July 2025.

She obtained her Accounting Professional Qualification from ACCA in 1994. In 2010, she obtained her Master of Business Administration from The University of Manchester, UK. She is an Associate Member of ACCA since 1997 and was admitted as a Fellow Member in 2002. She is also a Member (Public Accountant) of MIA in 1998 and was certified as a Member (Chartered Accountant) of MIA in 2001.

In 1994, she started her career with Ernst & Young, as an Audit Assistant and was later promoted to Audit Manager. During her tenure in Ernst & Young, she was involved in audit, financial and operational due diligence, corporate restructuring relating to initial public offering and mergers and acquisitions transactions. She resigned from the firm in 2000.

In 2001, she joined S P Setia Berhad (listed on Main Market), a company involved in property development, as a Manager in the Group Corporate & Finance division where she was involved in corporate finance, management reporting, business planning and budgetary controls, performance management, taxation, and mergers and acquisitions.

In 2005, she left S P Setia Berhad and joined Datascan Berhad (now known as Cuscapi Berhad, listed on Main Market), a company involved in software development and information technology related business, as a Vice President of Group Corporate & Finance, where she managed corporate finance, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, internal controls, and provided support for business operations. She resigned from the company in May 2006.

In June 2006, she joined Mah Sing Group Berhad (listed on Main Market), a company involved in property development, as a Deputy General Manager of Finance & Accounts where she was involved in group financial reporting, treasury, and corporate finance, up to her departure in December 2006.

In 2007, she joined Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (now known as TM Technology Services Sdn Bhd, and previously Webe Digital Sdn Bhd), a company engaged in the business of network infrastructure facilities, network services as well as to provide last mile services for fixed and wireless consisting of broadband, messaging and voice, as Associate Director of Finance. During her tenure in the company, she was responsible for finance operations and management, treasury, mergers and acquisitions execution, as well as internal controls and risk management. She resigned from the company in 2010.

In 2010, she rejoined Mah Sing Group Berhad as a General Manager, Corporate Services where she was responsible for the group financial reporting, treasury planning, risk management, corporate finance, and taxation. Subsequently in 2012, she was promoted to Senior General Manager, Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations, where she led strategic corporate finance initiatives, managed investor relations, and made significant contributions to the company’s financial and capital market activities, up to her departure in June 2025.
